Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with devotion and enthusiasm at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Sri Vijaya Puram on 27th August 2025.
The celebration began at about 8:30 am with the rituals performed by Shri Shiv Kumar Dwivedi, teacher of VKV, who chanted the shlokas and led the prayers.
The ‘abhishekham' was carried out traditionally by five students of class IX to XI under the guidance of Dwivedi sir after which the devotional bhajans were sung by everyone present creating a divine atmosphere.
A total of 50 students, almost 60 teaching and non-teaching staff and 10 parents were present for the celebration making it all the more memorable.
Finally, Aarti & Pushpanjali were performed and prasad was offered to the deity. Later, prasad and khichdi were also distributed among all the attendees. The pooja concluded at 10:45 am.
