ACHIVEMENTS

Boys Band Troup of (Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Sri Vijaya Puram) has been selected as the Best School Band Troup (Boys) in the State Level School Band Competition organized by Samagra Shiksha, UT Mission, A &N Islands on 8^th November 2024 and qualified to represent the UT A&N Islands in the Zonal Level School Band Competition at Bengaluru.

                             

J. S. Virat, a Class VI student, of VKV, Lambaline, has proven himself as a promising young chess talent. He achieved the following milestones in 2024: - Secured 9th position in the Under-11 Open Category at the prestigious Late Bharat BaiHalkunde Memorial (LBHM) All-India Open International Rating Chess Tournament held in Maharashtra, showcasing his strategic brilliance and potential. - Participated in the 11th National School Chess Championship in Bihar, where his exceptional performance qualified him to represent India at the 18th Asian School Chess Championship, scheduled in Bangkok, Thailand, from December 1 to 11, 2024. - Won 1st place in the State Selection Trial for the Under-13 National Chess Championship conducted by the Andaman Nicobar Chess Association, earning the opportunity to represent the Islands at the national-level championship in West Bengal this December.  

B. Adhira, a Class VII A student from Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Sri Vijaya Puram, participated in the National Level Camp of Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) 2023-24, the largest digital-based science talent search examination in India. Organized by VijnanaBharati (VIBHA) in collaboration with the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), Ministry of Culture, and NCERT, Ministry of Education, the camp was held on May 18 and 19, 2024, at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Adhira successfully qualified for the Indian Space Science Olympiad (ISSO) and will participate in the final level workshop at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, from December 27^th  to 29^th  2024.  

A.M. Sharabeshwara Adaikalam(Class VI B), Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Sri Vijaya Puram showcased exceptional talent in the 3rd SQAY Martial Arts National Championship 2024-25 held in Dhule, Maharashtra, from November 18th to 21st , 2024. Competing in the Junior Boys category, he secured Gold Medals in both Kaushal and Yudham events, making the school proud with his dedication and success.

Kumari. ARPITA BEPARI of Class IX B (Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya,Sri Vijaya Puram) secured FIRST PRIZE in the State Level Painting Competition on Energy conservation  organised by Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of power, Government of India on 16th November 2024 in Group B category. She has been awarded a cash prize of ₹50,000 with certificate
