MALLAKHAMB TRAINING

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Sri Vijaya Puram was honoured to host Padma Shri awardee Shri Uday Vishwanath Deshpande from Shree Samartha Vyayam Mandir (SSVM), Mumbai, from July 21st to 23rd, 2025. Shri Deshpande, recognized for his contributions to promoting traditional sports like Pole Mallakhamb and Rope Mallakhamb, conducted a 6-hour training program for 30 students from VKV Sri Vijaya Puram, VKNPV Ranchi Tekri, and VKZPV Port Mout on July 22nd and 23rd, 2025, at the Chinmaya Mission Hall. The visit was a valuable experience for the students, who benefited greatly from Shri Udayji's expertise and guidance.
