GURU POORNIMA


Guru Poornima was celebrated with great reverence and devotion in our Vidyalaya on 10th July 2025.  The programme commenced at 9:05 a.m. with a soulful Mangalacharan, invoking divine blessings followed by welcome address by Principal of our Vidyalaya. Bhajan- Guru Mata Pita was presented by Class IX & X students, expressing gratitude towards parents and teachers.  A  speech on Guru Poornima by student S. Dharunya of class IX further enriched the occasion, followed by a devotional rendition of Sachidanand Guru by our class XI & XII students.

Smt.Sangeeta Debnath then addressed the gathering, reflecting on the deep and guiding influence of Gurus in every stage of life.

The celebration moved on to the felicitation ceremony. A total of 6 toppers from Class X, 5 toppers each from Class XII Science and Commerce streams, and 17 subject toppers were honoured for their academic excellence.

The Class X school toppers and subject toppers were felicitated with trophies and certificates by our esteemed Chief Guest, Swami Shuddhananda Saraswati Ji Maharaj, Resident Acharya from Chinmaya Mission. In his inspiring address, he emphasized the role of the Guru as a torchbearer of knowledge and values and reminded everyone that Mother is the first Guru in a child's life.


  

 

The Class XII toppers were felicitated with trophies and certificates by Mananeeya Vishwas Ramachandra Lapalkar Ji, who then delivered a motivational address. He encouraged students to stay committed to their goals, remain rooted in values, and face the future with courage and clarity. He also offered prayers to the Almighty for the continued success and well-being of all present.

  























The programme concluded with  a Vote of Thanks delivered by Vice Principal, followed by chanting of the Shanti Mantra at 10:35 a.m., leaving everyone spiritually enriched and inspired.

    A total of 30 parents, 294 students and 22 teachers attended the programme.

ANNUAL BALSABHA

The Annual Balsabha of VKV Sri Vijaya Puram was held with great enthusiasm, featuring various competitions and performances. The highlight of the event was the dance competition, where junior students showcased patriotic themes, while senior students performed vibrant folk dances. The four houses competed for the Best House Award, and the Best House Board was also recognized. Students with 100% attendance were honoured for their dedication. 


The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Shri Athekeshavan, JE, SVPMC, and an esteemed ex-student of VKV. The competition was judged by distinguished panelists—Smt. Sujata Roy, Smt. Sujata Chakraborty, and Shri Rizwaan—who appreciated the talent and efforts of the participants.

  






The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, judges, teachers, and students for making the event a grand success. The Annual Balsabha truly reflected the school’s spirit of excellence and teamwork.
