In this occasion Mananeeya Hanumanth Raoji Vice President of Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari garlanded Swami Vivekananda's statue in front of the school campus and inside the school followed with floral tributes by Secretary Adarniya Varsha didi, Adarniya Priyamvada didi, Principal Shri S.Vijaya Kumar, Vice-Principal Dr(Smt). Archana Gupta.
A group of teachers presented a song 'Bhuvana mandale' to mark the significance of the day.
Later in the evening programme was organised through online mode .
The
program started with Mangalacharan. Swadesh Mantra recited by Km
Shreya Mishra, Bharat Mata ki Aarti and song by teachers,speech by Km
Anuishri Mondal on Relevance of Swamiji in today's context.This marked
the spirit of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
Mananeeya Hanumanth raoji Vice President, Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari enlightened all with his thoughts on Swamiji and advised the students to give foremost importance in building up their character and work towards giving service to nation. He exhorted that students should work hard so that they may have a shining future. The program concluded with Shanti Mantra.
